About us

What is Life in a Glasscase?

Life in a Glasscase is a group of artists devoted to the creation of fanzines.

A fanzine (from fan+magazine) is a nonofficial, non-profit-making publication, produced by amateur artists who share some particular interests.

We aren't a cirle with fixed members, so in each one of our books appear stories and illustrations made by different artists.

Our headquarters are in Barcelona, Spain. Nonetheless, we usually work with artists not only from differents cities in Spain, but also with artists from all around the world.

What are our fanzines about?

The main focus of our fanzines  are fan comics that are based on existing mangas, movies, games, books and a variety of fictional works. Fan comics and fan art are made to pay tribute to a work of an artist or writer. We draw them to show appreciation for an artist with no profit motive in mind. Some of our fanzines also include stories and illustrations featuring original characters created by authors.
